What type of a name is Vista!! I mean it sounds so shallow. I think Longhorn carried some kind of idea and depth. Vista is not what I would call very inspirational. People using pcs need some kind of driving inspirational name.. Vista is like .. no way. What I would have in mind is Pyton Cobra :-) Maybe not to that extreme but something with a competitve spirit.

Vista has no punch as Longhorn. If Longhorn name had any name infringment may be Windows TC (trustworty computing) Windows IT Windows 06 Windows OD (overdrive) and so on.

Vista reminds me of that other V word Virus.
Lets hope this isnt know as the new virus plagged version of windows.
Why didnt they call it Windows Sierra or some other funny name the V should have been avoided
