Regarding comment 3 "Vista rules! Die from envy linux suckers..." I will point out that Linux already has many features that Vista is supposed to have (assuming said features aren't cut by M). Have you heard of XGL That will leave Vista in the dust. Also Vista requires a 128MB video card 1/2GB of RAM and a "modern" processor (whatever that is) to simply display a clear new style of button. I have an IBM Aptiva E26 that has a 233Mhz AMD 288MB of RAM 1MB of video RAM which runs Linux. And guess what I have the same buttons the same transparency same EVERYTHING but with a rather puny computer. I'm glad to see Windows is finally catching up to Linux but I'm afraid it's catching up to Linux a year ago.

VISTA...... Virus Inside Switch To Apple. Too bad it was out for less than 15 hours and already thery were working on a salvage pack for it... when I first saw it I thought to myself " Wow! it's Mac OS X Tiger but with a regstiry how stupid!"

cheers to whoever posted comment 5. i do not own a linux computer but i do agree that windows is behind the times compared to mac and linux. but i will end up getting this vista anyways... to conform with most of the world.

the wallpaper is good but wista sucks..... it has high system requiremwnts and as i haven't tested wista on my 2.26 ghz celeron with 256 mb RAM and 32 mb VRAM i don't know wether it would work on my pc or not!

I downloaded some vista wallpaper and it is better than std xp wallpaper. my comment is on the use of poor language by other posters on this site. bad language to "diss" users of software you think is bad is unexcusable. you users of linuxxxxxx are ok i tried it before and went back to bill's stuff--less trouble for me.

I like it I always have. I guess many people are waiting to see the special effects that Aero offers. And I'm sure that the best graphics artists will be at work to provide such material over the next few months.

Regarding comment 4. If Vista/Microsoft are behind the times why are you using the same computer spec I was using back in 1994 If Linux was any good it'd be of some use and appeal to everyone...and not just geeks who choose the dark side. As for Apple...they'd be dead in the water if Microsoft hadn't bought a big chunk of the company and given them a lifeline.
