To open services control panel:
  1. Click Start > Run.
  2. Type services.msc and click OK. The Services control panel will now load.
  3. To stop and disable a service, just right click on a service and select Properties.
  4. Then, in the properties box change the Startup type to Disabled and click OK. The next time that you restart your computer the service will no longer be able to start.

Details of all the services running:

Digital ID Management Service - Disable
Listens for Digital ID related events and invokes the registered Providers to perform their tasks. If this service is disabled, this computer and all logged on users will be unable to use the automated functionality.

Distributed Link Tracking Client - Disable
Maintains links between NTFS files within a computer or across computers in a network.

Group Policy Client - Disable
The service is responsible for applying settings configured by administrators for the computer and users through the Group Policy component.

IKE and AuthIP IPSec keying modules - Disable

Infrared monitor service - Disable
Supports infrared devices installed on the computer and detects other devices that are in range.

Network Access Protection Agent - Disable
Allows windows clients to participate in NAP.

Peer Name Resolution Protocol - Disable
Enables Serverless Peer Name Resolution over the Internet.

Peer Networking Identity Manager - Disable
Provides Identity service for Peer Networking.

Pen Service - Disable
Tablet PC Pen Input Service.

PnP-X IP Bus Enumerator Service - Disable
The PnP-X bus enumerator for network connected devices.

Remote Registry - Disable
Enables remote users to modify registry settings on this computer.

Software Licensing Service - Disable
This service provides licensing technology APIs in Windows.

SSDP Discovery Service - Disable
Discovers networked devices and services that use the SSDP discovery protocol, such as UPnP devices.

UPnP Device Host - Disable
Allows UPnP devices to be hosted on this computer.

WebClient - Disable
Enables Windows-based programs to create, access, and modify Internet-based files.

Windows Error Reporting Service - Disable
Enables error reporting and solution delivery for application failures (crashes and hangs).

Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) - Disable
Provides image acquisition services for scanners and cameras.

Windows Management Instrumentation - Disable
Provides a common interface and object model to access management information about operating system, devices, applications and services.
