1. Open Notepad.

2. Copy the text below into notepad:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/x-vmware-console]

"Extension"=".xvm"

3. Save the file with a .reg file extension and import the file into registry.

4. Restart.
