Windows Mail Spell Check Language is no longer available for Spell Checking

Windows Mail Spell Check Language is no longer available for Spell Checking

When you run Windows Mail for the first time, you may receive the following error:
This language is no longer available for Spell Checking. Please select another in the Spelling Options Dialogue.

To fix:
1. On Windows Mail main window click Tools
2. Options
3. Spelling
4. Choose a language except English
5. Apply
6. Choose English
7. Apply

Should work now.

Because you have to go to a different screen and shut things down to go there. Also why is English no longer supported automatically when I have purchased this computer in the United States I am appauled that you are catering to other languages when this laptop has been purchased in the USA. I getting tired of everyone else being taken into consideration.

For those of you that DIDN'T find options on your windows vista DO THE CHANGING ON YOUR MAIN SCREEN NOT IN A MESSAGE. Then it works like a charm!!! Go to TOOLS OPTIONS Click on SPELLING tab then change language apply then change back to english. Presto. Your fixed. You don't even have to close your message you were working on. It will still spell check it too!

If you don't have the "options" icon in your mail message tools folder. Find it in the main Windows Mail page and click it; select the spelling tab select any other language and apply it; select English again and apply it over the pre-selected language. Presto should work!

Very straight forward easy to follow instructions....and it worked. Nicely done I wish all "help" was as easy. Given the other comments perhaps you should make it clear which Tools tag should be used.....I did try the one that appears while a message is being composed saw that the Spelling option was not there then went to the "home" mail page found tools and away I went.

Thank you easy fix and it worked. I too had a hard time finding the right tools option box being I generally use hotmail. For those of you who have a hard time finding it go to START WINDOWS MAIL (if it doesn't show up there select all programs). That is where you will find the right TOOLS button.
