1. Right click Computer > Properties 2. Advanced System Settings 3. Under Performance click Settings 4. Tick (Enable) or Untick (Disable) Use Visual Styles on Windows and Buttons 5. Apply

sometimes it is disabled because picasa program disables it and there would still be a tic on where you pointed out.

Somewhere a damned explanation of what Enable-or-Disable-Visual-Styles-on-Windows-and-Buttons actually does would be friggin helpful (ie' lights are on but nobody seems home at MS).
