All Applications Stop Opening in Windows Vista after Running Java

After using Java Applets (on any website) continuously in Internet Explorer for around 3-5 hours, all applications / Internet Explorer windows / everything stops responding. You cannot open a new application.

Nothing responds except restart and shutdown button.

The only solution currently is to run Java Applets in alternate browser such as FireFox.

Note: Only happens when run Java for long durations of more than 1 hour (Stock Market updates etc...).
