Its recommend to do it via the program properties but when that doesn't work:

Simple:
1. Start
2. All Programs
3. Startup
4. Right Click > Delete (It won't delete the application because its just a shortcut)

Advanced:
1. Start
2. Type msconfig under Start Search > Enter
3. Startup
4. Un-tick and Apply.
