Using Windows Sideshow
Vista has an way of putting these to good use away from your PC. A feature called Windows Sideshow takes the Gadget and uses it to display the information it provides on a screen belonging to another device, such as the small display built into the lid of some laptops, a digital photo frame or a compatible mobile phone. So you can view the latest headlines, display your appointments or view digital photos.
